It is a gigantic monolith that is located in the Jandía Natural Park, between Punta de Barlovento and the Islet. Area only accessible on foot or by SUV.
The large rock is the remains of a trachytic intrusion that has been isolated as the entire volcanic edifice that covered it has been eroded, similar to the neighboring Islet of Cofete.
