Fobos: Mobile sculpture

The ‘Fobos’ mobile is an authorized copy of the work of the Lanzarote artist César Manrique, belonging to his series Juguetes del Viento.

It is installed at the entrance to the Solana Matorral, in Morro Jable, where it dominates the large space of the Saladar de Jandía.

‘Fobos’ is one of the sculptural jewels that Pájara treasures and symbolizes the grandeur of nature through a set of gears and rotating pieces inspired by Eolo, the god of the wind.

The sculpture ‘Fobos’ has three certified original reproductions, in addition to the original that is in Lanzarote. One is in Gran Canaria, another in Germany and the third is this one from Fuerteventura made in 2006.
