Place of scientific interest
On the Leeward coast of the Jandía Peninsula we can appreciate another wonder, the world of salt marshes with their plant communities of halophilic species, such as the ‘mato’, the ‘brusquilla’ or the ‘uvilla’ and their waterfowl shallow. ‘El Saladar de Jandía’ stands out, classified as a Site of Scientific Interest of the Playa del Matorral.
